Enoch's Calendar is a Solar Calendar

Enoch 74:12  AND THE SUN AND THE STARS BRING IN ALL THE YEARS EXACTLY, so that they do not advance or delay their position by a single day unto eternity; BUT COMPLETE THE YEARS WITH PERFECT JUSTICE IN 364 DAYS.

 

The calendar that YHWH gave to Enoch is a SOLAR CALENDAR consisting of 364 days per year. This makes perfect sense because if there were 365 days in a year then they could not be equally divided into 4 seasons.

 

Lev 19:36  JUST BALANCES, JUST WEIGHTS… SHALL YE HAVE: I AM YHWH your GOD

 

Book of Jubilees 6:30  AND COMMAND THOU THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL THAT THEY OBSERVE THE YEARS ACCORDING TO THIS RECKONING- THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FOUR DAYS, AND (THESE) WILL CONSTITUTE A COMPLETE YEAR, and THE FIXED DATE OF THEIR DAYS and their festivals shall not be corrupted, for everything transpires in them according to their testimony, and they (Israel) shall not miss a day or corrupt a festival.

 

31 But if they do transgress and do not observe them according to His commandment, THEN WILL BE CORRUPTED ALL THEIR FIXED DATES, AND THE YEARS WILL WAVER IN CONSEQUENCE, AND ALSO THEIR TIMES AND THEIR YEARS, AND THEY WILL TRANSGRESS THEIR ORDINANCES.

 

32 AND ALL THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL WILL FORGET AND WILL NOT FIND THE PATHS OF THE YEARS, AND WILL FORGET THE NEW MONTHS, AND SABBATHS AND FESTIVALS, AND IN ALL THE ORDER OF THE YEARS THEY WILL ERR.

 

 

 

 

 

 

"New Moon" Never Appears in the Hebrew Scriptures

Book of Jubilees 6:34 AND THERE WILL BE THOSE WHO MAKE OBSERVATIONS OF THE MOON, FOR THIS ONE (THE MOON) CORRUPTS THE STATED TIMES AND COMES OUT EARLIER EACH YEAR BY TEN (10) DAYS.

 

Moses writes in The Book of Jubilees that the Israelites would go astray from following YHWH'S Holy Days by observing a Lunar (Moon) Calendar. A common translation error occurs in English where the term "New Moon" is used. In Hebrew the word "Chodesh" (חדשׁ- Strongs word H2320) means: New/Month. However, english translators rendered Chodesh incorrectly as "New Moon".

If the phrase "New Moon" were to appear in Hebrew it would be: Yareach Chodesh (ירח-חדשׁ)
This phrase NEVER APPEARS ANYWHERE IN THE HEBREW SCRIPTURES.

Moses prophesied of how the Gentiles would err in their calculations of YHWH'S appointed days and seasons.

 

Jubilees 6:33 For I know, and from now on I shall make it known to thee, and not from my heart, but thus it is written a book before me and is ordained in the tablets of heaven, the division of days, THAT THEY FORGET NOT THE FESTIVALS OF MY COVENANT AND WALK ACCORDING TO THE FESTIVALS OF THE GENTILES, AFTER THEIR ERROR AND AFTER THEIR IGNORANCE.

 

Daniel also prophesied of how the Heathen would seek to change YHWH'S appointed times and seasons.

 

Dan_7:25  AND HE (THE GENTILES) SHALL SPEAK GREAT WORDS AGAINST THE MOST HIGH… AND THINK TO CHANGE TIMES AND LAWS

364 Days/4 Seasons/91 Days
